Pay bonanza for Next's Wolfson

STORES group Next's 34-year-old chief executive Simon Wolfson earned £545,000 in salary and bonus last year, up from £487,000. He will also get 31,233 shares worth £323,000 in 2002 from a long-term incentive plan.

Former chief executive David Jones, who becomes chairman in May, earned £921,000 and will get shares worth £790,000.
