London's first cuddle café is inviting diners to get cosy and pay for their food with a hug.

The Cuddle Café, opening for two days next week, will be handing out traditional tea and biscuits for visitors – but only if they are willing to get up close and personal.

It is the brainchild of McVities, whose latest ad campaign features cute puppies crawling out of packets of Digestive biscuits.

The Cuddle Café joins a number of quirky venues which have opened in London over the past year including a cereal café, a board game café and Lady Dinah’s Cat Café.

It will be open February 10 from 8pm-10pm and February 11 from 11am-8pm in Tottenham Street, Fitzrovia.
