Teenager Jenas secures £5m move

Jermaine Jenas today became Britain's most expensive teenage footballer when he completed his £5million move to Newcastle United.

The 18-year-old, signed from Nottingham Forest, is the England Under-19 skipper and brings United's spending to £21m since the summer.

Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd said: "We are delighted to have secured the services of Jermaine Jenas."
